Kick-off Meeting of the XXXVII PhD cycle in Reggio Childhood Studies

On November 3, 2021, the Kick-off Meeting of the XXXVII PhD cycle in Reggio Childhood Studies was held at the Tecnopolo complex in Reggio Emilia.

An important opportunity to reflect together with the PhD fellows of the XXXVII, XXXVI and XXXV cycles on the importance of the PhD in a unique historical time like the one we are experiencing, of post-pandemic.

The Councilor for Education and Knowledge of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, Raffaella Curioni, the Director of the Department of Education and Human Sciences of Unimore, Annamaria Contini, Professor Alberto Melloni, the President of Fondazione Reggio Children Carla Rinaldi and the Director General of Pinacoteca di Brera, James Bradburne have opened the works.

A warm welcome to the 9 national and international researchers who are starting their PhD program.


Honorary Degree in Reggio Childhood Studies to the Senator Liliana Segre

On Wednesday 27 October, Senator Liliana Segre received the Honorary Citizenship of Reggio Emilia and the Honorary Degree in “Reggio Childhood Studies” from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Fondazione Reggio Children – Centro Loris Malaguzzi.

Senator Liliana Segre will receive the Honorary Citizenship of Reggio Emilia and the Honorary Degree in “Reggio Childhood Studies” from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Fondazione Reggio Children – Centro Loris Malaguzzi.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 27 October 2021 at 10.00 a.m. (Italian time) and it will be streamed live on Facebook at Comune di Reggio Emilia , Fondazione Reggio Children and UNIMORE

The second year of the industrial doctorate in Reggio Childhood Studies was inaugurated on Tuesday 3 November 2020

The day opened with the special greetings from Mayor Luca Vecchi and the speeches by Alberto Melloni, Carla Rinaldi, James Bradburne and Luca Torri. For this academic year there are 11 new researchers from different countries around the world.
